La 7 TV (Regional Television of Murcia)

7TV, the regional television channel of the Region of Murcia and the only broadcaster in Spain operating under a fully outsourced model managed entirely by a private company, again appointed BGL following the 2015 modernisation programme to integrate newer and more efficient systems. The ambitious technology upgrade encompassed the channel’s archive, playout and linear content scheduling systems.

Newsroom operations were migrated to a latest-generation digital server environment, replacing the previous hardware-based traffic systems. The new advanced connectivity provides faster and simpler interconnection for workstations and journalists.

The news studio was refurbished with a new videowall control system for content playback. It features a curved LED screen measuring 17 metres by 2.5 metres, together with a virtual studio equipped with three Panasonic 4K robotic cameras and Pixotope VR technology.

In addition to installing and commissioning all the equipment, BGL works with La 7 on its ongoing maintenance, ensuring reliable performance and operational efficiency.
