National Museum of Qatar (Doha)

BGL was responsible for a substantial part of the audiovisual engineering at the National Museum of Qatar, ranging from the integration of large-format projections using high-brightness 4K projectors to numerous displays and a wide variety of interactive systems.

The National Museum of Qatar, with 8,000 square metres of permanent exhibition space and approximately 2,000 square metres for temporary exhibitions, was designed by Jean Nouvel’s architectural studio, inspired by the desert rose.

The museum route is filled with walls transformed into screens, providing up to 3,000 square metres of projection that bring the country’s history to life. BGL is responsible for the 170 synchronised 4K projectors operating throughout the museum.

For this project, BGL assigned more than 70 directly employed professionals across Qatar and Spain, including audio and video engineers, project managers, integrators, developers, BIM, IT and AutoCAD specialists.
