XPOST Post-Production Centre

BGL integrated and installed the new post-production centre, which comprises a range of specialist rooms.

Five Avid Media Composer editing suites were installed, based on fully equipped HP Z8 workstations and supported by 80 TB of shared NEXIS Pro storage for collaborative workflows.

The facility also includes four DaVinci Resolve colour-grading suites based on Supermicro workstations, equipped with Sony OLED reference monitors, DCI projection and Dolby Atmos sound over a Dante network. These four suites and their auxiliary systems are interconnected through a high-speed 100G network linked to an 800 TB shared-storage SAN from Rohde & Schwarz.

Four Avid Pro Tools sound post-production suites use Apple Mac Pro workstations, PMC audio monitoring systems and Epson projection, supported by 40 TB of shared AVID NEXIS Pro storage. High-speed Infortrend archive storage provides an initial, expandable capacity of 1.4 PB.
