BGL has made two projection rooms for films in multiple formats ranging from classic 16mm and 35mm cinema to digital cinema with 2k projection. Due to the difficulty of using the rooms in which continuous passes are made and in which it is possible to change projection formats between one session and another, a control system has been installed which allows reducing the preparation times of the session projection and simplifies the work, already complex, of the projectionists.
The sound of the room is prepared to play from the most classic cinema in mono to movies that have 7 audio channels; this sound is passed through professional mixers that allow individual corrections on each audio channel, allowing live adjustments very useful especially when playing old movies with some sound deterioration in them.
In addition, these rooms can be used to hold conferences with the possibility of simultaneous presentation of various audiovisual formats, as support for conferences. It also has a modular simultaneous translation system, which will allow the extension to more translation booths if necessary.
The audio of these rooms, for the conferences, is independent from the cinema audio, but in case of possible technical problems in any of them they can be used interchangeably both for the cinema system and for the conference system, which allows operational redundancy very useful in the film library. These features result in two very flexible and functional screening rooms.
